The T-Series Element Management System (T-EMS) enables mobile operators to rapidly deploy, manage and operate multiple T-Series platforms supporting Smart Capacity™ solutions in their networks.

T-EMS centralizes and simplifies control, configuration, maintenance, and upgrades for the T3100 Adaptive Traffic Manager. The result is reduced operational complexity and cost for T-Series deployments distributed across multiple network sites.

T-EMS is a server application with a web-based graphical user interface (GUI). Key features include:

  • Ability to provide fault, configuration, accounting, performance, security (FCAPS), and topology management
  • Centralized configuration and automation of T-Series product software upgrades and management of policy rules
  • Multi-user security, with multiple levels of user access and different access parameters for each level
  • Integration with industry-standard, third-party operations support systems (OSS)
  • Leverage of T3100 GUI and management functionality for accelerated user training
  • Deployment in a cluster topology for additional management capacity to support larger T-Series installations
  • Horizontal scalability for expansion of T-Series platforms across 3G and 4G networks
